Are your YogaEasy videos buffering, loading slowly, or not playing correctly? Playback issues can have several causes, including an outdated browser, a slow internet connection, or settings on your device.
Follow the steps below to troubleshoot common playback problems.
Common Causes of Playback Issues
Video playback issues may be caused by:
- An outdated browser or device
- A slow or unstable internet connection
- Too many tabs or apps running at the same time
- Browser extensions that interfere with video playback
Troubleshooting Steps
1. Clear Your Browser Cache
Clearing your browser cache can resolve certain loading issues.
Follow the instructions for your device or browser:
- Clear the cache in Chrome
- Clear the cache in Firefox
- Clear the cache in Safari on Mac
- Clear the cache on iOS devices
- Clear the cache on Android devices
2. Update Your Browser
Make sure you’re using the latest version of your browser. Updates can improve performance and compatibility with video playback.
Check which browser version you’re using and install any available updates.
3. Close Unnecessary Tabs and Apps
Having too many tabs or apps open can affect your device’s performance, particularly on mobile devices.
Close any tabs and apps you’re not using, then try playing the video again.
4. Adjust the Video Quality
If your video keeps buffering or stuttering, try lowering the playback quality.
- Select Auto quality if this option is available. This allows the player to adjust the video quality based on your connection.
- If playback issues continue, try selecting a lower resolution, such as 720p.

5. Check Your Internet Speed
A stable internet connection is important for smooth video playback. If your connection is slow or unstable, videos may buffer or take longer to load.
As a general guide, the following speeds may be sufficient for streaming:
| Video quality | Approximate download speed |
|---|---|
| Standard definition (SD) | 1–3 Mbps |
| High definition (HD) | 5–10 Mbps |
These are general guidelines. Actual requirements may vary depending on the video, device, and other internet activity in your household.
Test your internet speed using a reliable online speed test. If possible, try moving closer to your Wi-Fi router or connecting your device to a more stable network.

6. Restart Your Modem and Router
Restarting your network equipment may help resolve connection problems.
- Unplug your modem and router from the power supply.
- Wait about 30 seconds.
- Plug them back in and wait for your internet connection to reconnect.
- Try playing the video again.
7. Check Your Browser Extensions
Some browser extensions, including ad blockers and privacy tools, may interfere with video playback.
To check whether an extension is causing the problem:
- Open a private or incognito window, if your browser allows video playback in that mode.
- Try playing the video again.
- If playback works, disable your browser extensions one at a time to identify whether one is causing the issue.
Keep in mind that private or incognito mode may have different playback restrictions, so this test may not work in every browser.
