Are YogaEasy videos taking a long time to load, buffering frequently, or playing unevenly? These issues can have several causes, including your internet connection, device performance, or browser settings.
Follow the steps below to help identify and resolve the problem.
Common Causes of Slow Loading
Slow loading or buffering may be caused by:
- A weak or unstable Wi-Fi or mobile data connection
- An outdated app or browser
- A VPN, proxy, or firewall affecting your connection
- Limited device memory or too many apps running at once
- An older device or software that is no longer fully compatible
Quick Fixes to Try
1. Check Your Internet Connection
A stable internet connection is important for smooth streaming.
- Make sure you’re connected to a reliable Wi-Fi network or have a strong mobile data signal.
- If possible, move closer to your Wi-Fi router.
- Run an internet speed test to check your download speed.
As a general guideline, a download speed of around 5–10 Mbps may be sufficient for HD streaming, although actual requirements can vary. A faster, more stable connection may help if several people are using the same network.
If other websites and streaming services are also slow, contact your internet service provider for help troubleshooting your connection.
2. Update the YogaEasy App or Your Browser
Make sure you’re using the latest available version of the YogaEasy app or your browser.
- Mobile app: Check the App Store or Google Play for available updates.
- Website: Update your browser to the latest version. We recommend using a current version of a widely supported browser, such as Chrome or Safari.
3. Restart Your Device
Restarting your device can help resolve temporary performance issues.
- Turn off your phone, tablet, computer, or streaming device.
- Wait about 30 seconds.
- Turn it back on and try streaming again.
4. Close Other Apps and Browser Tabs
Running many apps or keeping numerous browser tabs open can affect your device’s performance.
Close any apps and tabs you’re not using, then try playing the video again.
5. Check Your Device Compatibility
Older devices or outdated operating systems may have difficulty running current apps and websites.
Make sure your device and operating system are up to date. If possible, try streaming on another supported device to see whether the problem continues.
6. Check Your VPN or Network Settings
VPNs, proxy servers, and some firewall settings can affect streaming performance.
If you use a VPN or proxy, try temporarily disabling it, if safe and permitted on your network, and check whether playback improves. If you’re using a work, school, or public network, its security settings may restrict streaming.
Still Experiencing Slow Loading?
If the problem continues, try the following:
- Test your internet connection.
- Play a video on another supported device using the same network.
- If possible, try a different network to see whether the issue is related to your connection.
- Make sure your app, browser, and device software are up to date.
These checks can help narrow down whether the issue is related to your network, device, or video playback.
